Meet The Group: Justin Kranitz
Born and breed in Miami, I moved to Lakeland shortly after graduating Miami Killian High School in 1998. Quite often I am asked if I miss Miami. My response? “It’s hard to miss anywhere once you live in Lakeland.”
I eventually decided to follow in the family footsteps and enrolled in the Police Academy at Polk Community College. After I graduated form the Academy, I went on to work as a Deputy Sheriff with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office for approximately 6 years. During my rewarding career, my various areas of assignment included Patrol, Street Crimes, Investigations, and School Resource. While working full time, I also earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.
I am fortunate enough to have married the most beautiful woman in the world, and we have two wonderful sons, Colby and Cannon. Needless to say, Susan and I rarely find a dull moment with all the excitement they can bring. My family and I are members of the First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland. God has truly blessed me in so many wonderful ways.
During my free time I enjoy all aspects of sports and fitness. Whether it’s softball, golf, or hunting, etc., I simply enjoy the camaraderie & competition. I am an avid sports fan. Go Bucs!
